Thank you to everyone who supported Ash and Lachlan’s Reebok Rippas entry in the Autumn 2023 Shitbox Rally to raise funds for the Cancer Council of Australia.
Construction Sciences and partner company SureSearch proudly sponsored the Reebok Rippas rally car entry that recently travelled the long journey from Newcastle to Townsville from 12-20 May 2023. The duo successfully made it across the finish line in Townsville thanks to running repairs on the car along the way.
Overall, the 250 teams raised collectively $2.2M dollars for the Cancer Council of Australia to fund scientific research project for a cancer free future. The Construction Sciences sponsored Reebok Rippas Team have raised more than $11.6k.
The Pulsar Reebok has collectively now done 52,000kms for charity, including advertising for all sponsors and partners from 2018-2023.
The recent 7,000kms travelled comprised of the Autumn rally and visiting our FQ & CQ site labs meeting some of our great regional staff.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of Construction Sciences and our other sponsors, including the staff who contributed with cash for containers.
Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for the Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 13th year. Part of the participation is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount with the 2023 Autumn rally target set at $2,000,000.
