Golden Shovel Award Winners Enjoy US Experience

Construction Sciences’ trio of Golden Shovel Award winners returned from their whirlwind tour of the United States with exciting stories and unique adventures from their experience visiting our Kiwa partner company, Raba Kistner’s North American operations including active project sites and a taste of the renowned Texas lifestyle.

Golden Shovel Award winners all receive the Golden Shovel trophy and an all-expenses paid company trip to the United States hosted by colleagues from Kiwa Group partner company, Raba Kistner.

Pictured left to right, Wade Els (2022 winner), Jessica Kubeckis (2023) and Ronan Woods (2022) enjoyed a jam-packed week at Raba Kistner’s Texas operations in San Antonio and Austin. The trio visited Raba Kistner’s laboratories, toured local projects and sites including the team’s ongoing preservation work at The Alamo.

Perth Laboratory Manager Ronan Woods shared his appreciation of the experience on behalf of his fellow winners.

“This was a fantastic opportunity for us to network with our American counterparts. Chris Schultz and the Raba Kistner team were fantastic hosts and we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality,” Ronan said.

The Golden Shovel Award is presented annually to employees for their valued contribution to the workplace, teamwork focus and professional dedication.

Thanks again to Chris Schultz and the Raba Kistner team for hosting our Golden Shovel Award Winners.
