To highlight the importance of Construction Materials Technicians (CMTs) to the industry, Construction Sciences delivered presentations to potential candidates at LabTech Training’s (LTT) STEMsational Careers events for National Skills Week 21-27 August. #nationalskillsweek.
Area Manager Alexander Hodge (Sydney), Laboratory Manager Conor Holbrook (Melbourne), and SE Queensland Area Manager Chris Pearce (Brisbane), all presented on Wednesday 23rd August at each of LTT’s classroom facilities on the east coast of Australia. In addition to his presentation, Sandy Hodge’s practical demonstration was a hit.
Construction Sciences CMTs receive face-to-face workplace training delivered by LTT trainers and these open day events were an excellent opportunity to talk directly to students about what it is like working at CS, what CMTs do and the types of projects we work on for engineering and construction clients.
